People socializing more than ever!

Can you imagine if you were asked to live on a deserted island in the middle of an ocean! Scary, I wouldn't want to even think of that. I need to see people. I need to talk to them, share my thoughts, emotions with them. If I get hurt just letting a doctor know how I got hurt and how much does it pain gives me a relief and half of the pain is gone!

In short, people need to talk, share, and live together. It is the society that gives us a secure feeling all the time. Knowing that someone would be there to help you in case you need it makes you go distance. Socializing is also an important aspect of personal physical as well as mental health.

Humans have always been socializing. In the last century man invented a number of devices to reach to other people more quickly. Faster than ever! This was a revolution in socializing. Man could travel at the speed of sound. Man could see someone sitting a thousand miles away at a click of a button. Man could talk to someone real time just by pressing a few numbers. Finally the mother of all inventions in respect to socializing came to life, the 'internet'.

In less than 30 years, the internet has become a necessity for billions of people around the globe. Many of them wouldn't exist in this social world without the internet. Internet has become the breath of today's young generation. People make friends, create groups, communities, and share information at the speed of thought. People even find their life partners on the internet. Internet has given the power to socialize.

Today, there are many websites who offer a socializing platform. Every website has something unique to offer to its users. Socializing is no more restricted to reading and writing only. Users could share sounds, videos and pictures. They are able to see others talk to them real time with help of a web camera.

The power of internet has made it extremely easy and cost effective to socialize with others. The world has become a smaller place. The world population has engaged in socializing than ever before and the world is shrinking, bringing everyone closer to each other beyond the geographical boundaries.

    You are correct and this is a really nice article. I have a similar one but it's still on queue. It's not really the same as it reviews social networks but the intention is about the same ;O)

    It's pretty amazing how much the use of the internet has made people more "social" beings. This is a great article! What I think is interesting, too, is these technologically induced friendships now, more than ever, result in in-person meetings eventually. Pretty neat!

    I see what you are saying but you also must see the downside of these modern day technologies. The internet can make people become in a way lose such social skills that are used when you talk to people in real life. I have noticed a tendency of people being able to tolerate more online than in real life.

    Socializing has definitely become more popular as the internet as evolved. We meet people from around the world with the click of a button, yet stay safe and sound in our own home. This has been a great development for shy people and helped many come out of their shells.

    A very nice article indeed, socializing has become very important not only in your personal life but also for persuing a carreer. It's all about who you know nowadays that will get you further in your carreer.

    One might ask if internet contact is really socializing as people can pretend to be someone else far more easily, but it's a way of social interaction we can't pass off as it's so big nowadays.

    i agree. we are very social creatures by nature, and all of the technological access we have to networking platforms today is definitely making that step easier. i still like to socialize in person, of course, but interaction is key and for people who may not have time to go out and mingle, places like message boards are great inventions!

    Easier for most too adapt

    There are many shy people in this world that actually have a tough time socializing. It can become mentally unhealthy to shut ones self away from the rest of the world. The internet is an enviroment that these type of people can begin socializing on. Great article!
