How to Stay a Member of Pinecone Research

Many people know how Pinecone Research is a very hard survey company to join, what you may not know, is how hard it is to stay a member. Karen Scott who runs Pinecone Research has the tendency to have people removed by “accident”. Keep in mind, I say accident very loosely, as it’s already been proven without any doubt, it’s done on purpose.

If you join Pinecone Research and you join through a banner that says 18 - 24 then you must be 18 – 24. The same thing applies if you join under a Hispanic, or African American banner. You can not do surveys and then all of a sudden change your race, age or kids. If you are trying to “fit” their criteria then you must continue to do so each and every time you do a survey. I don’t recommend this, and I’m not saying I support lying, I just know a lot of people need money, and are dying to be a part of Pinecone Research, and in most cases the average person doesn’t fit what they are looking for. I merely provide the full information without holding back. It’s up to you to make up your own mind, and personal feelings on how much you need money, and what you are willing to do to get it.

If by chance you end up being kicked from Pinecone Research, you must use a different mailing address when you join, or you will be “accidentally” removed again because your mailing address will still be in their system. Their excuse for kicking you will be how it was a computer glitch, and your information was removed from the system, though when you sign up with the same account that “accidentally or by some glitch” got removed from their system, why is your data still there? Doesn’t removed mean removed? The truth would work best with any company, but with this one, you won’t receive it. Perhaps this is why so many of Pinecone’s members lie. If the company can’t tell the truth, why should they expect their members to? Pinecone Research and their caretaker are setting bad examples, and why they think other people won’t tell or share their experiences is beyond me. If you have been removed from Pinecone Research you are not held to their non-discloser agreement. Nothing is prohibiting you from sharing why you have been “accidentally” booted.

If you notice you aren’t getting your weekly surveys, be sure to log into your account to allow them to know you are still interested. This is one of many ways how, and why they “accidentally” remove people. Most the surveys the person is filling in aren’t what Pinecone Research needs, or the person is rushing. Therefore, Pinecone Research will stop sending surveys, and then discreetly boot you.

When filling in surveys for Pinecone Research be sure to take your time. Rushing through Pinecone’s surveys will surly get you booted. Sit back, have a drink, and relax.

Following these few simple tips will help you remain a member of Pinecone Research.

you bring up some interesting points. a lot of these types of sites will go through and remove people regularly. however i don't think it's done with malice; i think it is more of a case of (for the most part, in some cases it certainly is just because the person was caught with multiple accounts/changing their information) getting rid of fairly inactive accounts. it's a pain, i know. i know that i personally get really sidetracked and will forget about certain websites for days or weeks at a time. i'm sure thats the case with a lot of these places, but thats a good way to keep up on things - keep logging in!

That is really informative. But I do not think that they allow people from Asia, though.

I don't think any site would want to remove people with malice. They have to make sure that user's input right things and to remove inactive users. All survey's site do soemthing like this. I don't think it is that hard to remain a member of Pine Cone if you do all work honestly.

I don't think anyone should change information to fit a demographic for a study or survey. There is a specific purpose companies pay people for their opinions to fulfill, and that is to know how a certain group of shoppers feel or think about something, so the company can improve it's product or marketing. Lying to make a quick dollar isn't only morally rerehensible, it is professionally unethical and socially irresponsible.

I totally agree with you Mona Rigdon. In my opinion it is a definite form of cheating and anyone who does this needs to be booted from the survey site. Also teaching people how to cheat is also consider to be a scammer in my book. I am totally surprized that this post about how to cheat Pinecone Research is still allowed to be here and also being advertised on adcentsived sites to try and make more money. The OP has done this type of thing before and has been booted from other sites that pay you to post artiucles.

She is a known scammer and has the nerve to call some unchristian because they accuse her of such things.

I had no idea Pinecone Research was doing this. I had looked at them in the past and joined a few others over them. After reading this, I'm glad I didn't join. I haven't had any problems with the other survey sites I've joined.

I agree with you that it's pointless to lie to fit their criteria. The point of a survey is to obtain accurate information from a certain person. If you don't meet that criteria, then you won't be providing accurate information.

By telling people how to get back in to their system, even by trying to cover it up in an innocent fashion, you ARE telling people how to lie. And condoning it.

This has been forwarded to Karen.

I have also forwarded this scam article to Karen and I hope that anyone who follows Amy Lynn's advice gets booted from Pinecone and other sites they choose to scam.
This is a really informative article so thanks for the advice. the pinecone banner is extremely hard to find though. i have never stumbled upon it so far but i'll keep looking. hopefully i will be able to find it soon. and when i do find it i'll be sure to keep this info in mind.

I have seen Pinecone Research in workathomemoms. I really wanted to join but my country don't have access to it. I'm from asia and usually we don't get alot of surveys so that's very unfortunate of us when it comes to earning from survey sites.

Not surprising...

I've been a member of Pinecone for going on 9 years and have never been "accidentally booted". I've changed my information a number of times simply because various aspects of my household information has changed over the years, and this was never an issue.

The author of this article is suffering from sour grape syndrome. They cheated and got caught. Rather than take responsibility for their own actions, they chose to make a fool of themselves publicly. Sadly, this is not the first time Amy (the author) has written articles on how to cheat websites out of money. Anyone who takes the advice in this article, with any luck at all, will find themselves deleted from Pinecone as well.

I agree with Sarah. The author has written articles before on how to cheat websites. I would have to presume that she has a vast knowledge on the subject of lying, cheating, and stealing.

How to Stay a Member of Pinecone Research

I do not see how a person who was kicked off one incentive paid to write site can have the lack of intelligence to come here and start all over again with the deception and proposing theft, cheating and lying to increase earnings from a very good program. You claim to be a "Christian", you must not be reading your bible or your new Christian faith has not taught you the 10 commandments yet. You are going to have to start hollering for your friends at Bgpaymail to help you out or are they no longer your friends? As always....JMO....Merlin...)

You have nerve calling someone else a non-christian when YOU are the one who is scamming InformativePost and Pinecone Research. Karen from Pinecone IS aware of this article and is investigating you as I type. LOL. If I was running Informative Post this whole topic would be gone and so would you. You are telling people how to lie, cheat and scam. Nothing new there with you though is there Amy Lynn.

You need to seriously read your Bible and stop calling people non chrisitian when it is you who are lacking in morals.

Tell your buddies at BG hello. hehehehe.

You are going to have to start hollering for your friends at Bgpaymail to help you out or are they no longer your friends?

here is my reply :

How small and pathetic of you to bring a site in to this which has absolutely nothing to do with anything here.

But then again, you are well known to make some wild accusations that you can't back up and like nothing more then incite and belittle others.....JMO

Well now we find out the truth. Amy your just a sore looser and a scam artist. You were removed from Pincone Research in 2007. Like you were removed from GPTB and how you were removed from the other incentive writing site. How long will you last here. Bet you a buck it won't be long. JMO.

The whole point of surveys are to get the truth of what a certain group of criteria thinks, does, etc..... to better the point of the survey. If people are signing up with false information, they should be deleted. I am always honest with all of my surves. I take my time and do not rush. I want my opinion to be heard as well as earn for it. Dishonest people make it hard for companies to trust the majority. If they need money ths bad they should go apply to a place that will pay them weely.

Strange Halexo that it took you this long to come here and reply to something. Guess while Amy worked at the other site you and the other members of your "it" program went to her defense only because it gave you further incentive to bash GPTboycott.com. Somewhat strange you are the only appearent one who has came to her defense now. Guess the rest are no longer her friends or they don't want a great program like Pinecone Research ruined. Your grade school mentality is astonishing for one your age it appearently shows your IQ also. If you have a problem with me address me directly. If you got a problem with GPTboycott grow a pair as the saying goes and come to GPTboycott and discuss it. No wait you tried that and lost. As always....JMO....Merlin:)

Now you know with your comment Larry, they will more then likely all show up here. They all have nothing better to do then try to belittle people, whine how they are mistreated at GPTB, and they have the nerve to talk about how to scam people and think it is okay that Amy Lynn is doing this.

Anyone who follows the advice in this article is not an honest person IMO cause it is a known fact that Amy Lynn has scammed other sites as well as now telling others another one of her scamming ways.

Read that Bible yet Amy?

@ 10:27 am 09/24/08 by Sean Hein
I agree that the whole purpose of survey is to have real information from a pre defined group of people and as long as the survey is completed with accurate information, then it is fine.

How To Stay A Member Of ANY Survey Site

@ 6:55 pm 09/29/08 by Debbie Ann
Just be honest with your information. There are a lot of scam sites out there along with a lot of scammers of survey sites. The true legit sites have ways of detecting scammers and sometimes people get caught up in these like logging on the same sight from a different computer, etc when the company clearly states that it only wants one member per household, changing your demographics to fit a particular survey, or signing up for the wrong demographic in the first place.
Sign up appropriately with the demo that they are looking for.
Only make changes in your profile when needed.
Make sure you are logging in from the same computer and not a public one where others may be on the same panel.
And just be honest.
I've made money with survey companies, not a fortune mind you, buy I am growing it with referrals.
If everyone just tells them what they want to hear, what the heck do they need panelists for? And they will stop a good thing if everyone lies.
Sorry to be so long, I'm just saying.....

How To Stay A Member Of ANY Survey Site

@ 7:10 pm 09/29/08 by Debbie Ann
Sign up in the link asking for the demographic they are asking for.
Make changes that are honest only when needed.
Be sure that you do not use public computers to sign in as this is the only way they can be sure of one account per household.
Be honest at all times.
Scammers can work both ways. There are a lot of scamming survey companies out there, but I have not found pinecone to be one. However, if the true survey sites keep getting scammed, a good thing will be messed up. I make good money from these sites, not a fortune, of course, but enough to help and my referrals help, too.
Sorry to go on, but I'm just saying.....

The reason for this artivle in the first place was to tell people how to scam Pinecone Research because the person who wrote this article was scamming them and has been banned from their site since 2007. Isn't that right AmyLynn/anneke1974.

Sad of you trying to continue your scamming ways and tell others how to do it. The owner, Karen Scott has seen this post fdrom Amy and she told me that she was banned from their site for cheating. Cheating yet again another honest and paying site.

Guess you forgot to continue to read that BIBLE huh Amy.
