There was a large shouting match near midfield after the game, and multiple sources said Texas A&M receivers coach Dameyune Craig was at the heart of it. Craig, who was LSU's receivers coach in 2016, approached LSU's bench in the midst of a crowd storming shouting vulgarities.
"Kragthorpe said he doesn't plan on pressing charges against Cole, but he said Texas A&M could be responsible for any potential injuries he sustained". Texas A&M has confirmed that it is looking into the matter.
Texas A&M outlasted LSU in seven overtimes in College Station as the game stretched into the early hours of Sunday morning.
