The Hindi version of 2.0 bagged Rs 25 crore on its third day at the box office, registering a 23.46 per cent increase in business in comparison to the second day box office collection.
Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 has broken nearly all the records at the box office, except the ones set by the biggest blockbuster ever, Baahubali: The Conclusion. Rajinikanth has a double role in the film, which marks the return of Dr Vaseegaran and the robot named Chitti from the 2010 film Enthiran (Robot in Hindi).
Even before 2.0's release, a report in Bollywood Hungama had claimed that the makers have already sold the satellite rights, digital rights and music rights for Rs 370 crore.
The film also stars Amy Jackson and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles.

The film is expected to end its first weekend on a good note. The film has released worldwide on November 29.
The film's gross collection on day 1 was around Rs 74 crore (net Rs 61 crore). Thursday ₹20.25 cr. India biz.
Trade analyst and film critic Girish Johar tweeted, "Very Very #EarlyTrends suggest a minor fall in Day 2 BO for #2Point0. roughly 10ish% aprox decline.getting various trends for all 3 langs / formats". The 3D movie was shot in India and has got some never-seen-before VFX. The film is anyways making money in the South languages and if Hindi version supports well too then recovery of the huge budget won't be an issue.
Trade website Box Office India said the film was performing well in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, East Punjab, Bihar and Central India.
