Are you disappointed that only the most expensive iPhone (presumably, the XI Max) will get a triple camera, while the others are likely to stick with a dual camera setup?
Apple is reportedly planning to release three new iPhones in the autumn as it faces weakened demand in key markets for its top-selling handset. In the case of the iPhone XS and XS Max sequel, this will mean jumping from two to three lenses.
E-commerce giant JD.com says Apple has given it the green light to reduce the prices of the 64GB iPhone 8 and the 64GB iPhone 8 Plus by more than 1000 yuan ($148) from the prices listed on Apple's official China site, according to China Securities Journal.
However, WSJ did not mention anything about the 3D camera making it to the new iPhone. According to the Nikkei Asian Review, Apple will cut down production for all of its iPhone by as much as 50 million units in the first quarter of this year. The iPhone XR in particular hasn't proved especially popular amongst consumers, but it seems Apple's sticking with the lower-price, LED-screen model nonetheless.
That is partly because the planned LCD handset has been in the product pipeline for months and the plan can't be altered easily, they said. The current XR sports a single lens camera, and is backed by AI similarly to Google's Pixel cameras to produce shots which resemble that of the dual lens XS and XS Max. The iPhone XS is a direct successor to the iPhone X from 2017 and comes with an OLED screen and slimmed-down bezels around its display.
R. Kelly facing criminal investigations after Lifetime documentary exposes abuse allegations
It is unclear if investigators have had contact with Kelly or his attorneys. "No one has ever seen any evidence of it", he said. Kelly is being actively investigated by the district attorney in Georgia's Fulton County, where the singer owns a home.
Come 2020, Apple could drop the LCD model and shift its entire iPhone line to OLED displays, some of the people said.
Last month, Bloomberg reported that the company was-and still is-facing a "fire drill" to boost sales from shareholders, which prompted Apple to aggressively release its discounted iPhone XR model in October, which runs about $300 less its regular model.
So. what do you think about this early picture of the 2019 iPhones?
Mr Cook also acknowledged that consumers in other markets are not buying as numerous latest iPhones. Making iOS more open and flexible for other devices, apps and services, will make the iPhone appealing to power users and might just convince me to make the switch.
