After two years of occupying the Halloween scene, it looks like Stranger Things is ready to lay claim to another holiday season entirely.
In a new teaser, the streaming network revealed that the 1980s-set series will officially return on July 4, 2019.
Here's the poster, its tagline being "One summer can change everything".
The poster teases that something odd is coming to Hawkins in the summer of 1985. Mike is in love with Eleven. And in the shadow creeps a new kind of monster.
"When blue and yellow meet in the west" is believed to refer to the colored hands of the clock briefly seen in an earlier released teaser ad for Starcourt Mall, suggesting a time of 8:45. Mysterious interferences interrupt the broadcast, sending static onto the screen along with unusual messages like "when blue and yellow meet in the west".
Whatever could that mean? Before the lit up apple can clumsily make its way down the pole circa 1985 technology, the screen cuts back to another coded message. Let us know in the comments.
