A BBC correspondent shared on social media a video of his colleague being attacked at President Donald Trump's rally in El Paso, Texas Monday night, laying blame with the increasingly anti-press rhetoric the president spouts at his public appearances, including at this one.
In it, a man in a MAGA hat is seeing being restrained and is shouting "Fuck the media". Skeans told BBC that he felt a "very hard shove" from his blindside and at the time "didn't know what was going on". Another member of the media wrestled the man off Skeans before security eventually escorted him away.
This is the shameful moment when my cameraman Ron Skeans was attacked at an @realDonaldTrump rally in El Paso last night - warning this video contains strong language. The BBC team was later told by a campaign official that the "attacker was drunk".
The public broadcaster also said that Trump "checked with us that all was OK".
The Genie Stars In Aladdin's Latest Trailer
In December 2018, Entertainment Weekly published an article on the film that revealed a non-blue Genie . Aladdin also stars Naomi Scott , Navid Negahban , Nasim Pedrad , Billy Magnussen , and Numan Acar .
Montague, meanwhile, returned to Twitter to confirm that Skeans is okay.
"The Trump Administration has accomplished more than any other U.S. Administration in its first two (not even) years of existence, & we are having a great time doing it!", Trump tweeted last December. But after the incident, Trump pointed toward the crowd and asked, "You alright?"
A BBC spokesman told the Guardian, "The man was removed by security and Ron is fine".
Her statement followed a call by White House Correspondents' Association Chairman Olivier Knox for the president to apologize.
The BBC's Washington news editor, Eleanor Montague, said Trump had whipped the crowd "into a frenzy against the media" prior to the attack.
He added he had previously been "spat at" during a Trump rally.
