There are a lot of frightful human beings on the airwaves at Fox News, but recently uncovered audio of Tucker Carlson from 2006 to 2011 shows that he is, without a doubt, the worst person on the network.
On the tapes, the TV host said that Warren Jeffs, who is now serving a life sentence after being convicted of felony child sexual assault for aiding an underage marriage, "is in prison because he's weird and unpopular and he has a different lifestyle that other people find creepy".
He said that "what gets women going is arguing with them" about politics, especially feminism. For one thing, that's not true. If you want to know what I think, you can watch. In the meantime, Carlson's supporters have derided this report as a "hit piece" (despite it simply being Carlson's own words) or suggested that because these comments are a decade old, they're no longer relevant.
In the recordings Mr Carlson talks to the host, Todd Clem (known as Bubba the Love Sponge), as well as his anonymous co-host, about a range of current affairs.
While Outback says it cut ties in January, the decision had not been previously reported, and the chain is on Media Matters' list of Carlson's advertisers, which is being widely shared by critics of the Fox News host.
You know the role you're required to play. "Anyone who disagrees with my views is welcome to come on and explain why", Carlson said.
Former British PM Tony Blair At Akash-Shloka Wedding
Ahead of Akash and Sholka's wedding, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani sent 50,000 sweet boxes to the Mumbai Police. The pre-wedding festivities began on 23 February, with a grand celebration at the St Moritz, Switzerland.
On that same appearance, he called Alexis Stewart, a television and radio host and daughter of Martha Stewart, "cunty". In the meantime, what do you make of Carlson's expanded thoughts on his past remarks? Do you believe what he has said in the past is relevant for today?
Liberals demanding "total conformity" have "been working hard to kill" his show, Carlson contended, adding that "one of the only places left in the United States where independent thoughts are allowed is right here, the opinion hours on this network".
"I got to be honest with you". I mean I'm talking early teens, illegal young women for older men to marry and Carlson defended it so there's nothing wrong with it.
Media Matters has even more horrific quotes on their website.
Carlson mischaracterizes the trove of offensive comments published by Media Matters.
The recordings speak for themselves as users on social media have already begun calling for Carlson to be fired by Fox News after this weekend's recording release. It's unknown if this will change should the backlash against Carlson continue to increase.
