In May 2014, Lillard hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Blazers a 99-98 win over the Houston Rockets that clinched a 4-2 win in that season's first round of the playoffs.
The four-time All-Star buried a deep 3-pointer over Paul George's outstretched arm as time expired to give the Portland Trail Blazers a 118-115 Game 5 victory and eliminate the Oklahoma City Thunder from the National Basketball Association playoffs.
After the game was over, Thunder standout Paul George was asked about the shot, as he was given the responsibility of checking Lillard.
"There are some bad shots, even if they go in, but I don't know if you can really say that then". George stirred up some minor controversy when he said that the attempt by Lillard was a bad shot. That's a bad shot.
"It was a great feeling when it left my hands", Lillard said of the outrageous shot. "We live with that".
