Xiaomi has just announced the Redmi Y3 and this is their new affordable smartphone that comes with a high resolution 32MP selfie camera. The Redmi Note 7 series was the first to adopt this new design philosophy, and now, the new Redmi 7 has inherited the same design.
Xiaomi has also gone with a new design for the front panel of this phone, largely eliminating the thick bezels of the Redmi 6 in favour of a more expansive display with a waterdrop notch. The Redmi 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, marking a shift from the MediaTek Helio P22 inside its predecessor. The Redmi Y3 features up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of native storage whereas the Redmi 7 has up to 3GB of RAM and it an internal storage of 32GB. Using a microSD, the storage can be expanded up to 512GB. With the Redmi 7, Xiaomi is back to business offering the best specifications in the respective price range.

The Redmi 7 runs on MiUI 10 that's built on Android 9 Pie and it features a large 4000mAh battery. The device has a dual pyrolytic graphite sheet which is said to decrease its temperature by 2 degree celsius.
The 48 MP primary camera sensor on the back side will be coupled with an 8 MP secondary telephoto lens and a 13 MP tertiary wide-angle lens. It comes with features like dual-tone LED flash, AI scene detection, AI portrait mode, inbuilt Google Lens and 60 fps full HD video recording.
The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery. The other features of both smartphones include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, rear-facing fingerprint reader, microUSB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is available in Elegant Blue, Prim Blue and Bold Red colour options.
