Vivek Oberoi is in the news once and for all the wrong reasons. Recently, Vivek Oberoi shared a meme on his social media related to exit-polls but the meme was actually also targetting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her relationships in her life. "They were unable to stop my film and hence are now are trying to put me behind bars", Oberoi told ANI.
Another user wrote, "You tweeting this pic is a sign that Aishwarya made a sensible decision". Oberoi, who is playing the role of Narendra Modi in an upcoming biopic on the prime minister, was on the list of the Bharatiya Janata Party's star campaigners in Gujarat. I dont think I have done anything wrong.
Earlier on Monday, Vivek landed himself in a huge controversy over a meme he tweeted virtually mixing politics and films by dragging in the personal lives of prominent Bollywood bigwigs.
The commission's notice described Oberoi's post as insulting and misogynistic. "Somebody tweeted a meme and I laughed at it", he told media. "I'd like to meet them, I'll also like to explain myself because I don't think I have done anything wrong". This meme was not taken well by the fans as well as Bollywood celebs such as Sonam Kapoor.
Basketball-Blazers' Lillard left in limbo by Warriors' wall of defense
The Warriors roared back, closing within 76-75 on Alfonzo McKinnie's basket and pulling ahead on Looney's layup to cap a 10-0 run. The Trail Blazers go as far as their backcourt takes them, and they're both underachieving on the big stage.
People on social media tend to get creative but the celebrities who are living in the glass houses must be very careful while sharing that creativity to the world, without giving much a thought that it might spark a row of debate and troll.
"Vivek Oberoi speaks on Sonam Kapoor's reaction to his tweet (on exit polls), ".Aap apni filmon mein thoda kam overact karein aur social media pe thoda kam overreact karein. If he doesn't do so, we will see what legal action we can take against him.
Condemning the actor's tweet, NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma posted on the microblogging site, "This tweet is absolutely Disgusting, distasteful, and degrading a women". Vivek posted this meme which was made in reference of Lok Sabha 2019 election results.
