Starlink was launched in 2015, and envisages the development of global low-priced and high-performance internet. Eventually, the service will form a net of satellites around the Earth, featuring some 12,000 space robots in a constellation that leaves no corner of the planet without internet.
The launch was initially planned for last Wednesday, but was postponed due to strong winds in the upper atmosphere, SpaceX software engineer Tom Praderio said at the time.

The company says it won't know for another day whether the satellites deployed are functioning properly.
