After leaking online earlier this week, we now have the first official trailer for Last Blood, and it promises a gritty, dark and, of course, bloody affair for the grizzled hero. Rambo takes off in search of the girl, but gets more than he bargained for when he stumbles upon the operations of a sex-trafficking ring.
Nearly 40 years after the movie world first met John Rambo in 1982's First Blood, he returns, supposedly for the final time, in the appropriately titled Rambo: Last Blood.
The trailer opens with a view of a small but peaceful looking town with Sylvester resting on a rocker chair; he is then seen walking toward a tombstone in a cemetery. Rambo goes up against a Mexican cartel in this one, and the trailer gives us a first look.

Stallone has been providing some teases as well as behind the scenes looks at Rambo: Last Blood on his Instagram account.
The new movie co-stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adriana Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim aka Yenah Han, Joaquin Cosio and Oscar Jaenada. The film comes from Lionsgate, Millennium Films, and Campbell Grobman Films.
It's more than three decades later, and Stallone returns to wrap up his black ops military career with "Rambo: Last Blood", coming to theaters on September 20. He's played the character in four different movies - the most recent of which 2008's Rambo, was the single most violent major-studio movie I have ever seen.
