Early Thursday, Dorian was centred about 150 miles (240 kilometres) north-northwest of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
By the end of this upcoming weekend, into Labor Day, Dorian could impact the state of Flordia and the southeastern coast of the United States.
"Hurricane conditions are expected over Vieques, Culebra, and the USA and British Virgin Islands today". It will then strengthen to a Category 2 by Sunday morning before making landfall on the east coast of Florida or Georgia.
