The career implosion of NFL superstar Antonio Brown continued today as the league's defending Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots, jettisoned the mercurial athlete after sexual misconduct claims were made by a second woman.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media confirmed that the report initially provided by Robert Klemko of Sports Illustrated that Brown sent threatening, aggressive texts to the second woman, was corroborated by the NFL's investigatory team.

The Patriots said in a statement that "we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time". Belichick said during the morning that the team was looking into "some things", then cut off his news conference when reporters continued to ask about Brown.

In addition, Brown encourages someone he refers to as "Eric B", to investigate the woman to find out "how broke the girl is".

The move comes after allegations of sexual abuse continue to mount against Brown. Included in the piece was the story about an artist Brown hired to create a mural of himself on the wall of his home in the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Just two days after the Patriots announced they'd signed Brown, the seven-time Pro Bowl receiver was accused of sexual assault and rape by his former trainer.

On the other hand, PowerGrid, Infosys, TCS, NTPC and Tech Mahindra ended in the red, losing up to 2.39 percent. The key sectors which would benefit from GST rate cuts are hotels, gems & jewellery, defence and automobiles.

Wide Receiver Antonio Brown #17 of the New England Patriots warms up prior to the game against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on September 15, 2019 in Miami, Florida.

Brown, who was released by the Raiders Sept. 7 after a preseason filled with drama, could sign with another team.

"I know there are questions about Antonio".

The NFL reportedly met with Brittney Taylor, Brown's former trainer, on Monday.

Brown's Patriots career lasted just one game. "All I'm going to say is, it's disappointing". During her work, SI reported she was kneeling on the ground while painting when Brown approached her wearing nothing but a hand towel over his genitals. The Patriots play the Jets Sunday in Foxborough, Mass.
