So, where does Apple's wristwear go from here?
Apple today announced the new Apple Watch Series 5, the successor to the popular Apple Watch Series 4.
The Series 5 doesn't come cheap, though, so many of our readers are probably wondering, "should I jump the gun, or go for one of the older models instead?" The Series 3 Watch will fall in price to $199.
New features and improved services from the past will run on WatchOS 6, and Apple Watch Series 5 will be available in a variety of materials with a wide selection of bands.
It drops support for Series 0 Apple Watch a.k.a the original Apple Watch released back in 2015. The company has detailed the Apple Watch Series 5 price in India.
During the event, Apple trumpeted the health studies it's helping with by partnering with research institutes and hospitals for heart, hearing, and women's health (including menstrual cycles) health.
As far as the Apple Watch hardware, Apple hasn't changed much outside of two new case options: titanium and ceramic. While the previous version lacked in some areas, the new Apple Watch covers that.
According to Apple, the Series 5 device has a new type of display created to keep time and other important information easily visible at all times.

He vowed he would "never allow" the delay, insisting the draft law would "surrender" control over Brexit negotiations to Brussels. It needs to pass both Houses of Parliament to become law. "Today, I'm afraid it has voted to scupper any serious negotiations".
Apple is claiming that the new "always on" display won't drain battery life - it'll still get 18 hours per charge. But how? Well, this is possible through multiple technologies that work together in tandem.

Health and fitness tracking features - is there a big difference?
So there's that, and of course, a built-in compass, which Apple for some reason never had in the Apple Watch series despite the iPhone having had a compass for ages.
Global Positioning System models start at $399 - $499 for Global Positioning System and cellular - and you'll be able to pre-order them starting today. No doubt, third party apps will follow suit.
The new iPhones aren't the only things Apple is launching today. The app will allow anyone to enrol and will roll out in the USA later this year.
The new watches will take advantage of Watch OS 6, which will include new watch faces, an app store accessible from the watch itself, and new health features (like period tracking and noise cancelation).
