What Samsung is doing is simple: Taking features from the higher-end A series phones already launched this year and putting them on the cheaper devices. The Android 9 Pie OS with One UI skin runs on the device. It's a new chipset that's based on the 10nm process, with 4 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and the other 4 cores are clocked at 1.7GHz. The other model with 6GB RAM /128GB storage will retail for Rs 24,999. The newly launched Galaxy A50s and the Galaxy A30s come with triple rear cameras. Yeah, it isn't making the leap to quad-cameras like everyone in the segment is doing just for namesake. The triple camera setup now consists of a primary 25MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP depth sensor. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC and FM Radio.
Both smartphones pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and run Android 9.0 Pie OS out-of-the-box. Samsung A50 (Review) and Samsung A30, launched earlier this year, precede these launches.
The Samsung Galaxy A30s features a 6.4-inch Infinity-V Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1560×720. Galaxy A30s features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
And if you are looking for a smartphone with a large battery capacity, Samsung's latest Galaxy M30s might be the device for you because it comes with a 6,000mAh battery.
The smartphone comes packed with 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Like most new devices nowadays, the Galaxy A50s is also equipped with a triple rear camera comprising a 48MP (main sensor) + 8MP (super wide-angle lens) + 5MP (depth) sensor, whereas the 32MP sensor sits in the front. Samsung calls it 3D Prism design, with a crisscross pattern that looks incredible - it creates a two-tone effect at the back, and when you factor in the gradient design, the Galaxy A50s turns heads.
After the Galaxy A30s was certified by SIRIM, two more models have also gotten the green light and one of it is the Samsung Galaxy A50s. We will update the story once the price are available.
Both smartphones are now available on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Samsung Online Shop in Prism Crush Violet, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush White colour variants.
