He captioned this photo of Hawkeye, "Hey @sonypictures we want Spider-Man back to @therealstanlee and @marvel please, thank you #congrats #spidermanrocks #please". But for now they seem to be floating in the right direction.
Here's the thing, Miles Morales has been a fan-favorite Spider-Man for the better part of a decade. From working to nail web-swinging and acrobatic Spidey combat, to imagining a brand-new Spider-Man universe and storyline, and getting to build our own version of Marvel's NY - it's been a wild ride for all of us here. With this re-release, if public opinion hasn't soured over the dissolution of the Sony-Marvel deal, it could push Spider-Man: Far From Home over films like The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and another 2019 Marvel film, Captain Marvel. Possibly due in part to Spider-Man's massive (and PS4-exclusive) success, Sony recently acquired Insomniac Games.
The recent split between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have left fans devastated and extremely curious concerning the future of Spider-Man. After this is all said and done, I can't imagine a MCU without Spider-man, especially after setting him up to be the new Iron Man so he might be back in before you can say, I love you 3,000.
Both Kevin Fiege and Tom Holland have said that the future is a mystery and that it has been five great years, indicating that it is officially over. "But are there some other rights that are out there for other characters that they could cash in on?"
Despite the fan upset, Tom Holland is staying positive and has no plans of giving up the role. Sony made nearly $2.5 billion from Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man.
It's important to make the distinction that, presumably for rights purposes, the version of Tom Holland's character in Venom would have been Peter Parker and not Spider-Man. From here on out, Spidey's solo films will have to plunge down a different path.
We don't know, but Disney certainly does. But if Disney and Sony can't bring themselves to reconcile over this?
The extended cut of Spider-Man: Far From Home is playing in theaters through Labor Day, and features approximately four additional minutes of "never-before-seen action sequences".

When the Patriots got the football again after the kickoff, Brady returned to the game with 6:23 to play. "They need to be ready". The 31-year-old veteran in the backfield signed a two-year extension with the AFC East franchise back before the 2018 season.
