The app is already available for download from the App Store, bringing what many consider to be the world's best imaging and graphic design software. You can now add custom and multiple lights to create more realistic compositions and send Dimension projects directly to Adobe's new Aero AR app.
The company says it built Fresco for Windows from the ground up.
Besides being able to access and edit Photoshop files on the go, the iPad version "is reimagined with a new user experience completely redesigned for the iPad with touch and mobility top of mind", said Pam Clark, Adobe's senior director of product management, in a blog post on Monday morning. Adobe feels this is just the beginning, hinting at more promising updates in the future.
As for the supported devices, Adobe Photoshop for iPad works on iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4, iPad 9.7-inch 5th Generation and 6th Generation, iPad Pro 9.7-inch, iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st and 2nd generation), as well as iPad Pro (Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular). For non-subscribers, Adobe is offering a 30-day free trial after which you will need to subscribe to a qualified Creative Cloud (CC) membership, either via in-app purchase or directly via Adobe. The firm is bringing Fresco to other platforms, including Windows, as well. Now limited to Microsoft's Surface Pro X devices, the software is based on the company's in-house Adobe Sensei.
Saudi Aramco Officially Announces Intention for IPO Listing on Tadawul
Aramco kicked off an oft-delayed initial public offering on Sunday, revealing potential tax cuts and dividends to lure investors. More than 20 have been mandated, with the top roles going to firms including Citigroup Inc., Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase.
However, Adobe is also now offering a promotion on its standard $9.99 Photography Plan, which normally only includes Photoshop for the desktop (as well as Lightroom for desktop and mobile), to include Photoshop for iPad if you sign before the end of January 2020.
A major update to desktop Photoshop is also available starting today. The free app uses artificial intelligence to add special effects and enhancements to the range of pictures that people take on their phones everyday, from sunsets to selfies. Photoshop Camera even has lenses created by Billie Eilish to truly jump on the zeitgeist. As a substitute, the new Photoshop Digicam is meant to choose your Instagram match to the upcoming level: it's essentially a photo filter application on steroids, applying AI to carry out a variety of customizable filter types. It comes with access to Adobe Stock, Adobe Fonts and all Creative Cloud Libraries along with all the key features of the software.
Adobe says that the interface has been created to be as near to the desktop apps as possible, but modified for an environment where Pencil and touch are how you interact rather than keyboard and mouse (or keyboard, mouse, stylus and/or touch). All of your work is automatically synced to Creative Cloud, so your work should be readily available on your Mac or PC.
Adobe Max kicks off properly tomorrow in LA (so evening time in the UK), where we're expecting to see new versions of all Adobe's desktop creative apps from Illustrator to XD.
