"I understand that the United States is preparing to withdraw a brigade in case the negotiations with South Korea do not go as well as President Trump wishes", Chosun Ilbo told a diplomatic source in Washington with knowledge of the negotiations.
"I stressed that the withdrawal of USA troops from South Korea should not be considered, as the South Korea-United States alliance also helps the U.S. national interest", said Na Kyung-won of the main opposition party Liberty Korea.
"North Korea has been unwilling to explain what an end to "U.S. hostile policy" means other than to say that the USA must no longer treat North Korea as an enemy", Bennett said in an email exchange this week. "This is a negotiation".

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The U.S., however, is demanding such information before sanctions are eased.
