Before the trip to London, Trump slammed "Do Nothing Democrats" for scheduling the hearing during the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation meeting as "Not nice!"
Speaking to reporters at the global climate conference in Madrid, Ms Pelosi declined to engage with impeachment questions.

While the House Intelligence Committee began reviewing a draft of the majority report on Monday evening, committee Republicans produced a 110-page minority report that was leaked to the media at the same time.

It was to be expected as Democrats push their way to impeachment before the Christmas holiday.
"We expect to discuss the constitutional framework through which the House may analyze the evidence gathered in the present inquiry", the Committee's Chairman Jerry Nadler said in a letter to Trump last week.
Trump had previously suggested that he might be willing to offer written testimony under certain conditions, though aides suggested they did not anticipate Democrats would ever agree to them.
In a letter to Nadler on Sunday, White House counsel Pat Cipollone said they will not participate in Wednesday's hearing.
The first section is devoted to laying out misconduct from the president and his allies - including the pressure campaign against Marie Yovanovitch and the now-infamous phone call with President Zelensky - and says the freeze on Ukraine aid was ultimately lifted "in the face of growing public and Congressional scrutiny".
