Sony today announced the upcoming launch of several new 2020 4K and 8K sets TV, including the 8H 8K LED, A8H and MASTER Series A9S OLED, and X950H and X900H 4K LED televisions.
These most premium of LG's 2020 TVs (8K sets, the gallery series, and the wallpaper series) can now respond to voice commands starting with "Hi, LG" in addition to previously introduced Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa integration. LG says all of its new TVs support 8K at 60p, which can be delivered over HDMI. The TVs do not support the new HGiG mode either, despite Sony's PlayStation division being a founding member of HGiG.Netflix Calibrated Mode aims to achieve roughly the same goal as Filmmaker Mode, including turning off motion smoothing, but works only inside the Netflix app. IMAX Enhanced is a certification - not a format - for IMAX content and as such there is no special setting mode available.

Some of the specific models we'll see include a 65-inch Ultra HD Bendable OLED display, a 13.3-inch Plastic OLED tablet, and an 88-inch 8K Cinematic Sound OLED display with an 11.2-channel sound system.
Unveiled at CES 2020, the new LG OLED TVs - and new 8K and 4K LG NanoCell LCD TVs - are created to deliver stunning picture quality and innovative design with upgraded performance and artificial intelligence-enabled features. Both of those will be coming in spring 2020.
