Tottenham have confirmed that Harry Kane will be out until April with a hamstring injury.
Tottenham have announced striker Harry Kane is set for surgery to fix a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring, with the England captain expected to return to training in April.
The Poland worldwide centre-forward only joined the Rossoneri in January of 2019, but he's scored only 4-times in 18 Serie A appearances this season.
Kane will now miss Tottenham's Champions League last-16 clash with Bundesliga outfit Red Bull Leipzig, and will also be absent for England's fixtures against Italy and Denmark in March.
Kane limped out of Spurs' 1-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year's Day, with surgery recommended by specialists following a further review.
Cowboys pick McCarthy to replace Garrett as coach
McCarthy interviewed the weekend before the cowboys announced on Sunday that Jason Garrett would not return after 9½ seasons. The final tally is an 85-67 record, more 8-8 seasons (4) than playoff appearances (3), and zero (0) Super Bowl titles.
"The decision to have surgery should not affect how long the England captain is sidelined, with the hope that he will resume training in April".
The Premier League season will end on May 17.
His record of 32 goals in 45 games demonstrates his importance to England.
But Kane is also a wonderful playmaker, often dropping deep to create space and pick passes for runners such as Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, Raheem Sterling or Marcus Rashford.
Although England may concede more often on average with Kane on the pitch, they are a much better side going forward when they can count on their captain, winning 64.4 per cent of matches with him compared to 50 per cent without.
There shall be much more strain on the sport this season, with Spurs hoping to plug the hole to Chelsea within the race for the highest 4, and the stakes are as excessive as they've ever been with pleasure on the road as Jose Mourinho returns to the membership he led to 3 Premier League trophies.
