Shortly after firing up its engines to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere, the spacecraft will deploy four parachutes to slow its descent and splash down in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Florida. Known as Demonstration Mission 2 (Demo-2), it will be Crew Dragon's second orbital launch, third launch on a Falcon 9 rocket, and - most importantly - the United States' first domestic astronaut launch in nearly a decade.
