There were no new deaths reported Sunday. Meanwhile, the overall percentage of L.A. County residents testing positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic, which had been holding at 8% since May, rose to 9% Friday.

While the percentage and number of positive cases have increased in San Diego County, patients with COVID-19 have not overwhelmed local hospitals, which remain well below capacity.

Cases in which the patient has recovered were not immediately available for Ohio County Friday evening.
