Dallas County authorities reported 1,103 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Saturday.
Chautauqua County has six active cases of COVID-19, including the latest being a woman in her 60s, according to the daily update issued by the Health Department.
The COVID-19 case total in Winneshiek County was 24 for around four weeks in June.
It was the second consecutive day on which the county reported at least 1,000 virus cases.
"We are seeing significant spread of the virus and it is very concerning", Dr. Mandy Cohen, DHHS secretary, said in a statement Friday. The 12th and 13th deaths in Union County were reported on June 18. "We all need to wear a face covering, avoid crowds and wash our hands often".
The U.S. has almost 2.8 million cases of COVID-19 with 129,438 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.

More than a million coronavirus tests have now been completed in the state since the pandemic began this winter, according to the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services.
Testing data was not made available by the county. People 60 and older were the most likely to need hospital care. They were both hospitalized with underlying conditions.
