The film received seven nominations at the 91st Academy Awards including Best Picture, with wins for Best Costume Design, Best Original Score and Best Production Design.
Twitter also reinstated the Black Panther hashtag emoji in the wake of the star's death. "I didn't even actually have any scenes with him in Black Panther but I had quite a few with him in Marshall".
