Steve Greenberg said his client was attacked at Chicago's Metropolitan Correctional Centre, where Kelly is awaiting trial on sex abuse charges.

Kelly's attorney, Steven Greenberg, declined to comment on the incident, only saying that Kelly has been a model inmate.
His attorney's previously tried to secure his release while the global outbreak was at its peak, but an Eastern District of New York Judge, Ann Donnelly, ruled that Kelly had "not established compelling reasons warranting his release".
"Regardless, it is time to release Mr. Kelly", Greenberg said. Kelly was reportedly seen by a doctor, who confirmed that he did not suffer any serious injuries or broken bones.
