The county reports 2,332 people have recovered from the virus.
The state hasn't reported 1,000 new cases in a single day since July 28, a mark the state hit several times last month.
There are now 5,372 cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in B.C. after health officials announced 68 new cases Thursday. The Department of Health estimates it takes 47 hours to isolate someone who may have been exposed to COVID-19, which is 11 hours longer than the state's goal.
Outbreaks are ongoing in 10 long-term care or assisted-living facilities and two acute care facilities.

"Schools, child care centers, and shelters have always worked with public health and have been among the best reporters of communicable disease information", she said in a statement.
The state has advised college students to "lay low" and avoid such large events in the two weeks before returning to campuses this fall to maximize the chances that they arrive virus-free.
With Wednesday's numbers, New Mexico remains in compliance with seven of its eight reopening criteria - with contact tracing the lone trouble spot. There are 425 people now recovering at home.
If an outbreak is reported, it will then be up to the schools to work with their local county health department to see if classes would need to be canceled or if the school would need to temporarily close.
While almost all of the new COVID-19 cases discovered in Island Health this month have been linked to community exposures or known case clusters, one case identified on or around August 11 has been linked to worldwide travel and another case is still under investigation, according to Island health.
