Premier Doug Ford is expected to announce today that social gatherings will be limited to 10 people indoors and 25 outside for Peel, Toronto and Ottawa as the Province confirms 293 new cases this morning.
At the moment, no formal decision has been made.
The new restrictive limits to not apply to businesses or other formal settings, like places of worship.
Those facilities can still have 50 people indoors as long as people maintain proper physical distance from anyone outside their 10-person social circle. Businesses will not be included in these new rules.
Ford stressed that most large facilities and restaurants are implementing strict protocols to ensure a safe environment.

The virus has infected more than 29 million people, with roughly 925,000 deaths in around nine months, according to Reuters data. Both contracts fell on Monday. "They're going to do whatever they can do to kick start the economy and keep the economy going".
"There's going to be some severe, severe fines for people who want to ignore the regulations and the guidelines", Ford added, promising the penalties will be "the highest in the country" and under provincial jurisdiction.

According to the provincial webpage tracking COVID-19 in schools, there are now 18 Ottawa schools with at least one confirmed case: 10 schools in the French Catholic board, four in the French public board and four in the English Catholic board. Three outbreaks have been declared this week in London.
