More than 2,600 ballots have been found in Floyd County as part of Georgia's presidential race that hadn't been counted.
They check to make sure that the number of voters who got ballots matches the number of ballots counted.
Raffensperger said Graham questioned whether ballots with mismatched signatures were wrongly accepted because of election workers holding political bias towards Democrats, and asked if Raffensperger himself could throw out all the mail ballots cast in counties with higher than average rates of ballots being flagged for signature issues.
One was tied to handling of absentee and early voting ballots during the water leak at State Farm Arena and the other was tied to election observers being asked to leave.
The South Carolina senator has denied that he was implying Raffensperger toss any votes, telling reporters on Monday night that the claim was "ridiculous" and insisting he was merely investigating the state's methods for verifying signatures and protecting the integrity of mail-in voting (a method of voting that President Trump has been attacking for months). Lindsey Graham, are pressuring him to find ways to exclude legal ballots. Counties would have to start the recount no later than Saturday and complete it by December 1.

It's believed Trump could gain almost 800 from the discovered ballots after 1,643 new votes were found for Trump and 855 for Biden.
The head of the Republican Party in Floyd County said the issue was concerning, but "doesn't appear to be a widespread issue", and he was glad the ballot audit revealed it.
The problems are said to have occurred after county election officials did not upload voted fro a memory card in an ballot scanning machine according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
While swing states were under pressure to have results just days after the election, NY hadn't even begun the process of counting mailed ballots, said state Senate Deputy Majority Leader Michael Gianaris.
