State's Friday COVID-19 Case Count Exceeds 3,000, All-Time High

Cases of COVID-19 surged by more than 28 percent in Clark County this week, with 67 new cases reported Friday and one new death, according to Clark County Public Health.
The record-breaking number of 2,885 new cases was reported Thursday, which also saw a daily increase of 49 deaths, the highest in over a week.
Her death brings the county's total deaths from COVID-19 to 69 deaths to date.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 14,381 confirmed cases in B.C. and 263 deaths.
The three health-care facilities with new outbreaks are Hawthorne Seniors Care Community in Port Coquitlam, CareLife Fleetwood in Surrey and Queen's Park Hospital unit 3C NMSK 2 in New Westminster.
It means the number of people in this country with coronavirus who have died now stands at 1,913.
Most COVID-19 cases in the county have an unreported race associated with them, just under 46%, according to Friday's county health data.

The other deaths included three women from Goshen County, two men from Natrona County, one woman from Laramie County, one woman from Albany county, one man from Converse County, and a woman from Fremont County.
