Fans of Team Ninja's hack and slash action role-playing game Nioh and its sequel will be happy to hear that Sony Interactive Entertainment and Koei Tecmo have got their backs, as both publishers have announced that the "Nioh Collection" is coming to PS5 this coming February - containing remastered versions of the first game and its sequel! For Nioh 2, players will be able to upgrade from the PS4 version to the PS5 remaster for free, minus any DLC they haven't bought. On PlayStation 5, these titles will support 4K resolution and up to 120 FPS gameplay. The third and final DLC expansion for the title, The First Samurai, launches on December 17. It seems like this categorization is only here for players who only have the base game but not all of the DLC expansions. Releasing back in 23017, the series takes the historical character of William Adams (the first of two western samurai) and adapts his story in a fantastical retelling complete with giant beasts and supernatural sword fights. Further, Nioh 2: The Complete Edition enables PC players to use gamepads and fully modify the mouse and keyboard setup to their preference.
