A snippet of the country-turned-pop superstar's remade version of "Love Story" appears in a new Match.com ad. The two meet up, and obviously hit it off, to Taylor Swift's Love Story playing in the background.

As a bonus, the commercial is amusing as hell. emphasis on Hell.

The ad shows a #2020LoveStory with Satan falling in love with the wrong year.

Swift's buddy Ryan Reynolds released a commercial for Match.com through his creative company, Maximum Effort.

We're all pretty aware of the whole situation regarding Taylor Swift and the masters of her old records at this point. Off the back of the masters to her original catalogue being sold from under her TWICE - firstly to Scooter Braun, which he then on-sold, the songstress has been in the studio re-recording those songs.

As a result, Swift is now re-recording all of the songs on Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red and 1989.

If you look closely at the Match ad, Satan and his lover take a selfie in front of a literal dumpster fire. Now, Taylor Swift is all set to record the new versions of most of her songs to regain whatever she has lost till date.

The ad had over five million views in less than 24 hours and was praised by many on social media.

She vowed to re-record her biggest hits as a "fuck you" to Braun.

Taylor's re-recording her earlier works in a bid to own them again.

As for the Reynolds-Swift collab, the actor and singer have been good friends for some time. Following the ad's release on Wednesday, "Love Story" quickly began trending on Twitter.

Is it total reimagining, as if Love Story had to fit on folklore? No.
