Star Wars actor James Bulloch, who played Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi, has passed away at 75.

Bulloch also appeared in James Bond film Octopussy in 1983, and the BBC TV series Doctor Who in the 1970s.

Many actors from the "Star Wars", including Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and director Lucas, paid tributes to Bulloch on social media.

It is with huge sadness I can report that we have lost Jeremy Bulloch.

His "unforgettable performance as notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett has captivated audiences since he first appeared", the official Star Wars Twitter account said. "I will deeply miss him & am so grateful to have known him". I have had over 20 years of travelling with my wife Maureen to some awesome countries and have met so many wonderful fans.

"In 1979 I was called onto the set of Empire Strikes Back to play Boba Fett, and since that day it has changed the entire direction of my life in such a wonderful way", he wrote on his website. While he was the man in the suit, Jason Wingreen provided Boba Fett's voice.

Apple tipster Jon Prosser has suggested the new Apple TV will be equipped with an A12X Bionic chip. Apple last week began requiring developers to submit privacy information for use in labels.

The timing is interesting - there has been a resurgence in popularity of Boba Fett since discussions emerged about him being brought onboard in "The Mandalorian" series, and even rumors of a spinoff series surrounding Boba Fett in the works.

"CONVENTIONS WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS", Logan said on Instagram along with a photo of himself and Bulloch.

Announced in a post-credits scene as viewers were still recovering from the incredible closing moments of the episode, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand will apparently return in "The Book of Boba Fett" in December 2021.

According to TMZ, he lived in London after retiring from acting and is survived by his wife Maureen and their three sons.

He would settle instead for the tiny role of Captain Colton, pilot of Alderaan, and one more flight through the "Star Wars" galaxy, instead.
