COVID-19 in Florida: 10,603 new cases, 97 more deaths

There have also been four further deaths related to Covid-19 in Ireland. There have been 71 additional hospital admissions in the past 24 hours.
The governor's COVID-19 risk assessment dashboard shows the county has had 247.7 cases per 100,000 population over the past two weeks, as of Wednesday.

The state also reported that the seven-day average rate of positive tests, which is calculated from the total number of tests administered, was at 8.67 percent.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,447. Stay at home. Work from home starting from tomorrow, and if you are an employer, ask your employees to work at home.
Under the Level-5 restrictions, people are not allowed to travel more than 5 kilometers away from home and all the non-essential retail outlets have to be closed. A total of 523,090 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since March of 2020.

Recent information suggests that the new Covid strain that was initially found in England is now in Ireland, but that it is definitely "not responsible" for the recent "significant and concerning increase" in case numbers.
Previously, the state was providing only the total number of hospitalizations in its statewide and county-level data.
