Drake stalls new album as he continues to recover from knee surgery

The Canadian star revealed his injury in October by sharing a picture of his knee in a brace as he relaxed in bed. "I'm blessed to be again on my toes, feeling nice and centered on the album, however CLB gained't be dropping in January".

Drake - who has since released 2018's "Scorpion" - wrote back: "They hated on "Views" just like they will CLB ['Certified Lover Boy'] but it's music to evolve to".

Drake has made a decision to postpone the release of his upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy. Past year he also released Dark Lane Demo Tapes, a compilation of songs that had been previously released on Soundcloud or leaked.

With only Dark Lane Demo Tapes dropping previous year with no promotion, Drake still topped the list of the most streamed artists of 2020 with 5.615 billion streams.

Manitoba logs 111 new COVID-19 cases, 11 more deaths
On Tuesday, 1,911 COVID-19 tests were done in Manitoba, which brought the total number of swabs done since February to 456,861. This brings the total number of deaths associated with the disease to 2,768 and the total number of Covid-19 cases to 179,324.

Certified Lover Boy will feature the single "Laugh Now Cry Later" featuring Lil Durk, released in August.

The highly anticipated sixth album was originally scheduled to be out in the summer of 2020. The announcement video references several of his past projects, including So Far Gone, Nothing Was the Same, and Take Care. The recovery process is going well though, according to his latest update. Hearing the news, Future congratulated Drake on social media platform Twitter.

In a photo posted to his Instagram story, Drake is photographed from behind as he's sitting over a mixing console in a dimly-lit studio.

Drake's message notably did not clue fans in to when in the year we might expect to be able to get our hands on Certified Lover Boy.
