Manitoba logs 111 new COVID-19 cases, 11 more deaths

48 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Louth on Wednesday evening.
There are now 4,331 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
As a whole, NE Iowa has 1,090 active cases of COVID-19 - that's down from 1,151 active cases one week ago.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 93 additional deaths related to Covid-19.
58 of these deaths occurred in January, health officials said.
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 60s from the Winnipeg health region died.
Most of today's cases were identified in Dublin, where there is 701 new cases. The median age is 44 years old.
On Tuesday, 1,911 COVID-19 tests were done in Manitoba, which brought the total number of swabs done since February to 456,861.
This brings the total number of deaths associated with the disease to 2,768 and the total number of Covid-19 cases to 179,324.

As of 2pm today, 1,923 Covid-19 patients were hospitalised, of which 210 were in ICU at 11am.

Public health is monitoring 6,864 people who have been exposed to confirmed cases.
Fraser Health reported 262 new cases, 83 in Vancouver Coastal Health, 32 in Northern Health, 21 on Vancouver Island, and six in people who live outside of Canada - temporary foreign workers heading to farms and other workplaces who are being quarantined on arrival in the country.
During their briefing, Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix also announced they expect a shortfall of about 60,000 doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine in the coming weeks as a result of company delays.
