The recent riot at the Capitol by Trump supporters has prompted major US retailers, including Walmart Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and Best Buy Co., to halt political contributions to Republican lawmakers who voted against certifying President-Elect Joe Biden's electoral victory.
Bed Bath & Beyond, Khol's, Wayfair and other retailers will reportedly cease the selling of all My Pillow products in their US stores. I just got off the phone - Kohl's, all these other places.
"This is the only time we have in history to beat these guys, to suppress the evil, and beat the evil", Lindell says in the clip. "They're scared. Like a Bed Bath & Beyond, they're scared".
He also said his company is a good partner and has seen its direct sales increase 30-40 percent since Friday.
'You know I've been looking down every hole for election fraud since November 4th and about eight or nine days ago this proof came out.
MyPillow was dropped from the retailers' shelves and sites after lawyers for Dominion Voting Systems sent a letter to Lindell on January 8 threatening legal action if he didn't retract his accusations and issue an apology, NBC News reported.
Larimer County Reports One New Death, 11 New COVID-19 Outbreaks
Statewide, a total of 1,152 long-term care facility residents have tested positive for COVID-19, with 132 deaths. One projection from early January estimated that one in every 17 people in LA county now had Covid.
Lindell said he doesn't regret his election claims or his support of Trump, who he said he first met in 2016.
Dominion has also sent cease and desist letters to others, including Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani, both of whom are staunch Trump allies who have often pushed conspiracy theories about the integrity of the company's voting machines. Last week, The Washington Post's Jabin Botsford photographed parts of Lindell's notes as he went to meet with Trump, capturing phrases such as "election issues" and "martial law if necessary".
"Despite your repeated promises - not to mention your considerable and costly efforts to bankroll a so-called investigation into Dominion - you have failed to identify a scintilla of credible evidence that even suggests that Dominion is somehow involved in a global conspiracy to harvest millions of votes in favor of President-elect Biden", the letter states.
CEO Mike Lindell said Monday that his company recently was notified of the discontinuance.
Mike Lindell, aka "The MyPillow Guy", has been a long-time vocal supporter of soon-to-be-ex-President Trump which is weird on its own but also not really surprising.
'I wanted to get it to the president.
