Several people were injured in a shooting at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, police said early on Friday, without disclosing any casualties and adding that the shooter had taken his own life.

Officer Cook told reporters that the police had arrived at the scene just after 11 p.m., responding to a report that shots had been fired.
"Thank God for being here because I thought I was going to get shot", Miller told the station.
Miller said: "This made me stand up and actually look out the entrance door, and I saw a man with a submachine gun of some sort, an automatic rifle, and he was firing in the open".
It is unclear how many people have been shot at this time or their conditions, but multiple victims have been transported to various hospitals in the area, Cook said.
