At least 13 people died and 70 were injured after an overpass for a metro in Mexico City collapsed Monday night while a train and various cars were driving on it.
A train vehicle was shown partially in the air following the derailment. Authorities said cars were trapped.
A second video showed the subsequent wreckage of the accident with two train cars still visible on the collapsed portion of the bridge.
It is not known whether most of the dead were on the subway cars, or whether they were pedestrians or motorists caught below. We will focus on reports from police officials and other authorities, credible news outlets and reporters who are at the scene, and we will update as the situation develops.
Oscar López, 26, was searching for his friend, Adriana Salas, 26. "I don't know if they were in shock", the witness said. The accident happened at 10:30 p.m. local time (3:30 a.m. Tuesday GMT/UTC). "There was literally no more contact", López said.

The European Union has mobilised its Emergency Response Coordination Center to provide oxygen and medicine to India . The government is also issuing orders to convert tankers that transport argon and nitrogen into ones for oxygen.
