Xbox 360 Review – The Xbox 360 gaming console is probably one of the most popular console systems out there. It’s cheaper than the Playstation 3 with graphics that are right up there with it. Xbox 360 games are better than those of the Nintendo Wii game console as well as the Playstation 3 gaming system.

I have both PS3 and the 360. The 360 does have better graphics and better gameplay than the PS3. The Playstation 3 is pretty to look at, but the graphics are not what they should be since it supposedly has the most “advanced processor”. What……now you are supposed to wait years for developers to make a good game….man come on.
The Xbox 360 is a better game machine, both better looking or better playing. I Ain’t biased toward Microsoft or Sony but the Xbox 360 is better.
Xbox 360 Review – Why It Is Better Than Playstation 3

One of the most well known gaming titles of all-time is Halo and with Halo 3 the Xbox 360 has already left its mark. I’ve known people who have a Playstation 3 who have always been skeptical of the Xbox and thought Halo was a “stupid” game.
That is until they start to play it, then they begin to not only fall in love with Halo but with the Xbox 360 itself. It has more selection as well when it comes to games due to the fact that it’s been on the market longer than both the Nintendo Wii and the Playstation 3.
Xbox 360 Review Graphics:
The graphics on the Xbox 360 are some of the best out there. When compared to the Playstation 3 the Xbox 360 might not have the same power of a graphics engine but it still manages just fine. Some people can’t even notice a difference in the quality of graphics between the 360 and the Playstation 3 when they’re side by side.

This is a problem for the Playstation 3 since it’s cost more than an Xbox 360. The graphics are crystal clear and amazing! The Nintendo Wii doesn’t even compare with the Xbox 360 graphics wise. The Wii has its own strengths but graphics are definitely not one of them when compared to the Xbox.
Xbox 360 Review Gameplay:
The controllers of the Xbox 360 just seem to fit your hands just right. Obviously Microsoft spent some time thinking about their new controller design and I like it.
The interface of the Xbox console is also very useful, allowing you to connect to one of your computers through the 360 itself and you download music onto your Xbox hard drive if you want to play music while playing a game.

There are dozens and dozens of great titles available for the Xbox 360 gaming console in various genres. I’ve already talked about Halo 3 being a great game for the system but another one that I’ve grown to love is Gears of War. Other great Xbox 360 games worth checking out are Bioshock, Mass Effect, Crackdown, PGR4, Assassin’s Creed.
Xbox 360 Review – Xbox Live Online Gaming Service
The online play is awesome and Xbox Live is definitely worth the money. Some people I’ve talked to have been confused as to the price of Xbox Live. It really isn’t that expensive.
Only fifty bucks a year gives you access to some of the best online game play. You haven’t experienced a console system unless you’ve played online. There really is no other comparison.
Well I hope that little Xbox 360 Review overview has given you a good image in your mind as to what the Xbox 360 gaming console is all about. My advice would be that if you’re looking for a new system give the 360 a serious look. In my opinion it’s the best console system out there.
Obviously this Xbox 360 Review was written by an Xbox360 fanboy. It’s rather amusing that the only games that this individual can boast about is Gears and Halo LMAO. The PS3 has a proven record for being a more reliable console, just look at the failure rates of both systems and you will see.
Another item that this Xbox 360 Review fails to mention is the value that the PlayStation 3 offers to the consumer; not only are you getting a gaming machine with the PS3 but you are also getting a top-notch bluray player. Obviously, this person wishes to start a flaming war. PS3 outsold Xbox360 in January 2008 and will likely continue as more and more people begin seeing the expansive library the console has.
The reason why Xbox360 games look better can easily be explained by the fact that many developers have ported many of the Xbox360 games to the PS3. However, now that the install base of the PS3 is expanding many developers have made the decision to start developing titles on the PS3 first and porting them to Xbox360 instead.
If you want a truly next gen system, purchase yourself a PS3. With killer titles such as Motorstorm 2, Killzone, Singstar, Metal Gear Solid Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Home, Uncharted Drakes Fortune 2 and with many others on the horizon you will not be disappointed.
The arguement you make that a 360 fanboy wrote this Xbox 360 review holds merit as long as you are to also point out that you are a PS3 fanboy.
To say that MANY game developers have decided to port over to the 360 after developing for the PS3 is a flat out lie. The install base of actual gamers is triple that of the PS3 as shown by the number of games sold. What are developers selling???? GAMES and that is all they care about.
Secondly, the PS3 did sell more consoles in January which is like the first month ever that it has done so. Why did it sell more consoles? Because the 360 was sold out from the crazy sales numbers they had from September through December.
Third, you talked about games mentioned on the Xbox 360 Review like Gears and Halo being the only individual games that can be boasted about….Hmmmm…I guess you never heard of Sine Mora, SSX, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Double Fine Happy Action Theater etc.
The number of Xbox 360 games that are great is proved by the number of games sold not the number of games that you mention coming out someday. Sony does a great job of talking about good games nowadays, but a poor job of actually making them.
I will give you the fact that the PS3 has less failure rate as it is true. But with a three year warranty on the 360 and quick replacement, does it really matter much. I have to believe the only real reason the PS3 doesn’t fail more often is because most PS3 owners can’t get a game worth playing long enough to actually burn it out.
So while you continue talking about how good the PS3 will ultimately be, I am going to sit down at my Xbox 360 and enjoy how great it already is and play the Gears of War series to dominate my time in the summer. That’s all I will say about my views on this Xbox 360 Review and have fun gaming with the PS3.
