The final announcement was AEW Elite GM, the anticipated mobile game claiming to be "the evolution of the GM simulator genre", allowing players to "design a roster of wrestlers, setting up matches, and running the show to generate revenue, new fans and effects on wrestlers' stamina and morale". The upcoming title is described as being "a dream wrestling game for fans around the world".
All Elite Wrestling has announced not one, but three new AEW video games. Yukes, a veteran studio that has been creating wrestling games since 1995, was famously taken off lead development duties for last year's WWE 2K20, with that game going on to be a critical and commercial flop.
More off the beaten path, (and a little grosser), is AEW Casino: Double or Nothing - which is, as the name suggests, a mobile casino title featuring AEW-branded versions of cash-gobbling games such as blackjack, roulette, poker, and slots, all dressed up in AEW's distinct aesthetic. The game is scheduled to be released in 2021.

That main, traditional wrestling game is, of course, the most exciting. The former is a casino game being developed by KamaGames, while the latter-a management sim-is being developed by Crystallized Games. Omega noted the game is inspired by WWF No Mercy and Virtual Pro Wrestling, as well as NBA Jam and NFL Blitz.
"It's incredible to think that less than two years ago, we sent shockwaves through the professional wrestling industry with the launch of AEW, and now we are rolling out our new revolutionary games", said Tony Khan, CEO and GM of AEW. He said that they "shall re-write history and make history together".
