The Department of Health conducted case investigations of the 11,926 confirmed cases between October 18 and October 24 and asked people who had been infected if they had been out to businesses or restaurants, or at indoor gatherings, in the two weeks prior to testing positive for COVID-19.
Yesterday at 2 p.m. there were 320 patients with Covid-19 in the hospital, 41 of them in the intensive care unit. There were 17 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
In addition, the county said there were 61 probable cases, of which 55 were from positive antigen tests.
The new test results mark the fifth straight day with cases over 500 and the 14th consecutive day with at least 300 cases.
